Airtec Foundation 215mm

AERATED CONCRETE FOUNDATION BLOCKS

Our 215mm Airtec Foundation blocks are designed as a lightweight, easy to lay, speedy and cost-effective alternative to traditional cavity foundation walls. The 215mm height block is offered as an alternative to our 140mm high type for builders wishing to use conventional coursing height blocks. Hand-holds are also provided at the ends of the blocks for easier, safe manual handling.

A solid Airtec Foundation wall means a faster build, shallower trenches, less waste material, no need for wall ties, less mortar and zero chance of collapsed cavities. The excellent thermal properties of these lightweight Airtec Foundation blocks enhance thermal integrity throughout the build especially if used in conjunction with Airtec walls and floors blocks.

All Airtec products are ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmentally certified and with the highest possible BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing rating of ‘Excellent’.

In common with all other Airtec blocks, these lightweight large concrete blocks offer the very best possible dimensional tolerance category of 'Thin Layer Mortar B' (TLMB) but are perfectly suitable for conventional 10mm mortar joint construction.

With all aerated concrete in the UK, the surfaces of the building blocks may contain a random number of larger natural air bubbles/cells on the block surface due to an unavoidable consequence of the manufacturing process. These large cells are perfectly normal and are not a defect and do not detract from performance in any way.
